AIP EMPANADAS 🥟 ⁣

Alright so because of my almond flour, red lentil, and egg reintro I’ve been leaning more towards Paleo recipes than strict AIP. But omg do I have a recipe for you guys today...best thing about it...it’s 100% AIP friendly. ⁣

I found a delicious crust recipe from Predominantly Paleo and made my own filling. ⁣ 𝘊𝘳𝘶𝘴𝘵 𝘐𝘯𝘨𝘳𝘦𝘥𝘪𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘴:⁣ 🔅1 cup of cassava flour ⁣ 🔅3/4 cups of water ⁣ 🔅1/4 cup of olive oil⁣ 𝘍𝘪𝘭𝘭𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘐𝘯𝘨𝘳𝘦𝘥𝘪𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘴:⁣ 🔅1 Ib of beef ⁣ 🔅1 carrot⁣ 🔅1 mushroom ⁣ 🔅1/2 an onion ⁣ 🔅1tbs of garlic powder ⁣ 🔅1tbs of nutritional yeast ⁣ 𝘐𝘯𝘴𝘵𝘳𝘶𝘤𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘴:⁣ 🔅preheat oven to 350 and line cookie sheet with parchment paper ⁣ 🔅mix all Crust ingredients together with your hands⁣ 🔅using a rolling pin, flatten out dough to about a 1/4 of an inch thick⁣ 🔅using a cup or cookie cutter, make circles in the dough ⁣ 🔅put 2tsps of filling in the center of the circles⁣ 🔅fold over circles to make a semicircle and pinch ends together leaving the center puffy ⁣ 🔅place on cookie sheet and in oven for 15 minutes ⁣ 🔅once cooked, place in a pan with heated olive oil and fry on either side for 5 minutes ⁣ 🔅let cool and enjoy with coconut aminos
