Good morning lovely people!!! Are you ready for this heat wave? I’m certainly NOT. Because I have an autoimmune disease, heat exacerbates my symptoms and causes severe heat exhaustion. This is actually something common in most people who have autoimmune diseases.
There are ways to fight the exhaustion such as cooling packs, drinking lots of water, and eating iced foods. But I bet you didn’t know that there are certain foods such as eggs, almonds, and chocolate that help fight fatigue! Another one of those foods is one of my all time favorite fruits...grapefruit!!! Below are facts about the fruits I used and instructions on how the make the fun and aesthetically pleasing grapefruit bowl , because cmon, it’s so much more fun eating when the food is displayed well. 𝘛𝘰 𝘔𝘢𝘬𝘦: 🔅Take a grapefruit knife and cut around the edges of the grapefruit and down the middle 🔅using a spoon, scoop out half of the grapefruit 🔅fill the empty half of the grapefruit with fruits of your choice and top with honey 𝘍𝘳𝘶𝘪𝘵 𝘍𝘢𝘤𝘵𝘴 🍉 🍌 : 🔅grapefruits fight fatigue 🔅strawberries promote heart health 🔅blueberries are antioxidants 🔅kiwi fruit aids in digestion
